She is a Comic-Con icon and cosplayer in general. She is also a writer and an actress (in the vocal as well as visual sense).
Which actors and actresses have you always wanted to work with?
Hi, there. I’m sorry for the delay. That’s a good question. I’d love, love, LOVE to have the chance to work with H. Jon Benjamin (the voice actor lol). As far as stage acting goes, I think Will Smith tops my list for sure.
That’s okay, I don’t mind delays; especially since I tend to be working on writing novels that I intend to have adapted as movies. I’m only disappointed in the fact that your official website doesn’t work.
I’m also disappointed but it was hacked into by an unstable guy who had been stalking me and he tried to put up his own site for me on a different domain that was similar to mine. We had to get it taken down. He absolutely wrecked my own site and I’ve just not had the time to build it back up. I will be soon.
Who are your influences as a writer?
Emily Dickinson, Nathaniel Hawthorne, Carl Jung, Gary Zukav… for starters.
Would you like to try your hand at directing?
So much respect for directing and directors, but I doubt I’ll get into it.
What’s stopping you?
What type of films would you like to act or write in?
I’m partial to comedy and action-adventure.
Can you do any martial arts?
Negative. Sadly. At one point, I was going to study Silat but I wasn’t able to find a quality teacher.
What did you think of Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman?
Suicide Squad was carried by Margot Robbie, Leto dropped the ball. The latter was a great film, but lacked the darkness that the comics held and babied the story a bit.
I agree. I think it would’ve been better had it been a `90s film by Tim Burton.
Ehhh. I mean, maybe but I think the derangement of the characters and the sick story….actually, maybe Burton could have done it justice if he took it darker. I liked the art direction though.
I think it would’ve been better had it been shot on film instead of a digital camera where the superficial grain looks washy. The texture of a film print can go a long way in providing a menacing atmosphere. It’s why I prefer `80s horror movies.
A lot of people who I saw it with would agree with you.
Recently, I’ve been reading a comic book called Queen & Country. Ellen Page was meant to star in a cinematic adaptation, but she failed an unofficial audition in the guise of motion-capturing which she did for an action computer game called Beyond: Two Souls. She also has a limited grasp of the English accent. Can you speak an English accent well?
I fare decently. I voiced Marissa Tweed Ronson in the trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City.
