The overlooked comedy actress

Despite her good looks, Emma Stone avoided the criticism of being as stone-faced as a model. She did this primarily by playing cartoony characters in SuperbadThe RockerThe House BunnyGhosts of Girlfriends Past and Easy A. Five years later, she has been mostly known as a drama actress. She has been in one recent dramedy (Birdman), but it is really more of drama with Emma playing the role of what the Japanese would describe as a tsukkomi.
